The concept of IWAS was born in India, on the back of a napkin. Our four co-founders developed a programme that gives back to people. IWAS is not simply another good cause. It was built as a sustainable model for everyone involved, from local makers to partners and customers.
After creating several successful programmes, IWAS became a real brand. This allowed these programmes to grow while bringing a unique collection of upcycled lifestyle products to consumers around the world.
Today, the IWAS team operates globally while always maintaining a local approach.
